'Idols SA' winner Berry Trytsman buys her first home

Berenike 'Berry' Trytsman is celebrating the purchase of her very first home.
Berenike 'Berry' Trytsman, the 'Idols SA' season 17 winner, took to her Instagram page to share the exciting news.
"God is good all the time We bought our first house! My amazing friend Mimi helped us with the process and she was an absolute gem, making sure we knew what to do every step of the way. Thank you Jesus for your blessings," the 32-year-old captioned a picture of herself standing outside her new house.
The singer's friends and fans flooded her comments section with messages of congratulations.
"YAY!!! That’s wonderful, Berry Pie. Congratulations, babe. You and your family must make tons of incredible memories in your home," singer Tima Reece wrote.
Boom Shaka star Thembi Seete commented: "Congratulations, honey, I am happy for you."

Berry walked away with R1-million cash, a record deal from Kalawa Jazmee Records, and several other prizes when she won 'Idols SA' in November 2021.
She celebrated the one-year anniversary of her win this week. Berry told her followers that winning the competition changed her life.
"1 year ago, on this day, you changed my life forever. Thank you team Berries! I'm nothing without you or God by my side. Please continue to show your love by streaming my new EP. 6 new songs for you to enjoy and they all show a different part of me."

The 'Ungowami' singer's star continues to rise after her appearance in the singing show. Berry recently revealed that she is almost fully booked for the festive season.
"I’ve been so blessed with bookings this season and only have a few more available spots on my calendar for this year. I’m looking forward to the adventures and performances that await in 2023!" she said.
