Haters tell Miss SA Shudufhadzo Musida to cover up
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
Shudufhadzo Musida became a trending topic on Twitter all because the fashion police slammed her for showing too much skin on the gram.
"We seem like we don't have a Miss SA this year but a pornstar..."
That's what one Twitter user had to say about the many swimwear pictures Miss South Africa Shudufhadzo Musida posts on social media.
The 24-year-old became a hot topic on Twitter after sharing a picture of herself in a bikini while chilling poolside.
"I’ve been waking up early to go to [the] gym and things are switching up," the model captioned the image.
While many people commented on how great she looks, some complained that all Shudufhadzo ever does is post sexy pictures.
"No nice/motivational message. She only tweet nudes," one man wrote.
Another added: "Where did we go wrong. Miss SA must be a Doctor/Lawyer."
let’s just lay out the plain truth guys, Abigal knew what she was putting herself into when she entered the contest, she has obligations and responsibilities and issues that she has to advocate to especially on social media, not posting naked pics, we demand change Miss SA

I wanted to say this the other day but fearing the new Miss South Africa's entourag's attack, I kept quiet. I am disappointed at how she says nothing but only post naked photos 🙈🙈 We seem like we don't have a Miss SA this year but a pornstar... https://t.co/nREXXwpKHR pic.twitter.com/UOLMb06YrO

One woman went as far as saying that Shudufhadzo has a responsibility as Miss SA to comfort families in need, not post cute selfies.
"U r Miss SA.Ur voice Matter. U need to say something to comfort families who have been losing their loved [ones[ or to encourage young girls who are looking up to u, they can't only see pics of urself half naked."
We love u but u can't always come here to post urself half naked.U r Miss SA.Ur voice Matter.U need to say something to comfort families who have been losing their loved once or to encourage young girls who are looking up to u,they can't only see pics of urself half naked.

I thought Miss SA was here to tackle MENTAL ILLNESS during a pandemic. Maybe wearing hats all the time helps curb mental illness.

But many social media users came to Shudufhadzo's defence.
"Stop body shaming! Whether she wears a bikini or wears a suit, she is beautiful in her own skin. Miss SA @abigailmusidawe stand behind you," one tweep wrote.

Black South African's can't deal with seeing another successful black individual being happy with themselves, you will see them try to discredit the individual by all means possible. We are a nation that finds happiness in tearing down another person and its sad

You guys know that she is a model ,right miss SA bikini photos are part of her job. But she is to be respected the comment she made is by far out of line, disrespecting our Miss SA. You will understand if you have integrity.
