Girlfriend of the year! AKA's bae buys him a PS5 console

AKA just got his hands on the PS5, and he did not have to twerk to get it!

The rapper's girlfriend, Nelli Tembe, forked out around R10,000 to buy him the console, which dropped in November. 

'My baby just got me the PS5," the 'Congratulate' rapper captioned a picture of himself holding his gift.

Instead of congratulating AKA on scoring the must-have console of the year (men famously twerked on Twitter for a chance to win one), some of his haters took a swipe and Nelli's gift.

"This dude is happy about a PS5 they bought him with his own money," one tweep wrote.

Another added: "The Caption was supposed to say... 'My baby Just used my money to get me PS5'."

Some made fun of the fact that Nelli bought AKA the digital version, which costs less. But AKA's fans clapped back, telling the trolls the digital version makes sense for people with fibre who don't want to buy physical games. 

AKA and Nelli, who started dating earlier this year, are going strong despite a recent report claiming they got into a heated argument that ended at the police station. 

According to the City Press, the police were called to a Bryanston home over a week ago to investigate the drama. 

“When the police got to the house, they were still fighting and her bags were packed. She told the police that she was tired of his behaviour and was leaving [him]," a source claimed.
