"Co-parenting, it's really f***ing hard."
Kim Kardashian says co-parenting with her ex-husband, Kanye West, is hard, but she refuses to let her children get caught in the middle of the drama.
The 42-year-old talked about their difficult relationship during an episode of Angie Martinez's 'IRL' podcast. Kim, who filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2020, addressed how she deals with his social media attacks.
Despite her ex's erratic behaviour, the beauty mogul told Angie that she did her best to keep things civil for their children's sake.
The former couple has four children together- North West, Saint West, Chicago West, and Psalm West.
"I can be going through something, but if we are riding to school and they want to listen to their dad's music, no matter what we're going through and no matter what's happening in the world, I have to have that smile on my face, and blast his music and sing along with my kids, and act like nothing is wrong. As soon as I drop them off, I can have a good cry," 'The Kardashian' star said.

Kim broke down in tears while talking about her relationship with her late father, Robert Kardashian.
"Co-parenting, it's really f***ing hard but I had the best dad and I had the best memories and the greatest experience. And that's all I want for my kids. As long as they can have that, that's what I would want for them. So, if they don't know things that are being said, or what's happening in the world, why would I ever bring that energy to them?”

Kim added that she is doing everything she can to ensure her children have as normal a life as possible.
"That's real heavy grown-up s**t. And they're not ready to deal with it. When they are, we'll have those conversations. And I'll be so prepared. But until then, I'll do anything to keep their life as normal as possible.”
The SKIMS founder added that she has many receipts, but she will never fight dirty because of her children.
"Sometimes you just have to say this isn't the energy I am going to let into my life and I have to rise above it."
