Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
Music superstar Drake gave DJ Black Coffee a shoutout on his Instagram page this week.
DJ Black Coffee is one of South Africa's biggest exports. The award-winning DJ is in high demand overseas and counts people like Diddy, Swizz Beatz, and Paris Hilton as his biggest fans.
Canadian-born rapper Drake is also a big Black Coffee fan. The pair have worked together in the past and continue to collaborate in the studio.
Black Coffee is listed as one of the executive producers on Drake's new album, 'Honestly, Nevermind'.
The album became Drake's 11th number one on the Billboard 200. 'Honestly, Nevermind' is also his consecutive number one album. The dance record has house music influences.
Drake took to Instagram to praise Black Coffee. He named the 46-year-old as one of his "heroic figures" alongside some of the other producers on the album.
Black Coffee shared Drake's post on his Twitter page.
"It comes as God wills it," the 'LaLaLa' hitmaker wrote.

Black Coffee also received a writing credit on the song. The DJ has also worked with stars such as Alicia Keys, Usher, David Guetta, and Pharrell Williams.
Not only is Black Coffee a regular at Coachella - one of the largest music festivals in the world - but he also has sold-out sets in Ibiza, Paris, London, and Miami.
He is touring Europe and America right through to December.
