DJ Euphonik reportedly owes SARS R11-million in unpaid taxes and the taxman is ready to collect!
Another celebrity is making headlines for owing SARS millions of Rands. According to the City Press, the taxman has sent DJ Euphonik a letter of demand for unpaid taxes.
The house music DJ, whose real name is Themba Nkosi, reportedly owes SARS a whopping R11-million.
SARS took the DJ to court in 2019 after he reportedly failed to pay at least R4-milllion of his outstanding bill. Euphonik reportedly owes the revenue service the money for employee tax, unpaid skills development levies, UIF contributions, unpaid income tax, and unpaid value-added tax.
The 37-year-old's final tax bill includes penalties and interest. According to a Sunday World report, the DJ was given the option to pay back the money in installments.
SARS is now reportedly seeking a writ of execution against him.
DJ Euphonik is not letting his SARS woes get the better of him. He was recently in Ibiza for several deejaying gigs.
He shared pictures of his travels on his Instagram account.
