Did 'Stars Wars' force 'Wonder Woman 2' to move its release date

The clash of the blockbusters? 'Wonder Woman 2' has a new release date, and it may have something to do with the 'Star Wars' movie!
The 'Wonder Woman' sequel has moved its release date from December 13 to November 1, 2019.
The news come after Disney and Lucasfilm announced a few months ago that 'Star Wars: Episode IX' would be released on December 20 - seven months later than expected.
The move means 'Wonder Woman 2' would open a week before 'Star Wars' - which could potentially take a huge chunk out of its box office profits.
The first 'Wonder Woman' movie earned an impressive $1.2-billion. Its opening weekend set the tone for the film's success, earning $103.251-million when it hit US theatres.
News surfaced this week that the movie might not even have a sequel if Gal Gadot has her way.
Reports claimed the Israeli-born actress, who plays Diana: Princess of the Amazons, refused to return to set if accused sexual harasser Brett Ratner was not removed as a producer.
But Warner Bros. has described the news as false.
