Moon of my life! Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa had a mini 'Game of Thrones' reunion this past weekend.
Several 'Game of Thrones' cast members came together for a special birthday party. Co-creator David Benioff celebrated his 50th birthday on Saturday.
David technically only turns 50 in September, but it looks like he is kicking off the festivities a month early.
Two of the drama series' most loved characters, Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen, played by Jason Momoa and Emilia Clarke, were excited to see each other.
The pair played lovers in the award-winning HBO series.
"MOON OF MY LIFE. you are wonderful love u forever @emilia_clarke #smilelyeyes happy birthday benioff you handsome generous badass leo aloha j," Jason captioned a picture with Emilia.
Emilia also took to Instagram to share a snap from their mini GoT reunion.
Emilia is close with several of her 'Game of Thrones' cast members. She welcomed Iain Glen, who played Ser Jorah Mormont, to Instagram with a sweet picture of the two of them.
"The man. The myth. The LEGEND @iainglen60 HAS JOINED INSTAGRAM! “KHHHALLEEESSSSIIIII!!!” My hero and my guide for over a decade… please instaworld show this man the lovin he deserves," she wrote in July.
While GoT did not end the way fans expected, Emilia told The Hollywood Reporter she has made peace with the final season.
“I’m still friends with people from the show, and I know I will be friends with these people until the day I die. So it’s had a lasting impact on my life... Daenerys has a part of my heart. She is in there, and I’ll never forget."
