Georgina Rodriguez broke down in tears while recalling the day she lost one of her twins.
Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, welcomed a new addition to the family last year.
It was a bittersweet moment for the couple because while they got to bring their daughter Bella home from the hospital, her twin brother Angel was left behind. He sadly passed away.
Rodriguez opens up about the heartbreak in season two of her reality show, 'I Am Georgina'. Netflix released a trailer for the show on Wednesday.
"This year, I had the best and the worst moment of my life in an instant. Life is hard. But life goes on. I have reasons to move on and be strong," the 29-year-old says in the trailer.
The Argentian-born Spanish model credited her footballer fiancé with helping her get back on her feet.
"Cris really encouraged me to continue with my agenda. He said, 'Gio, move on with life. It will do you good. My priority right now is my family and my children. I’m so happy and thankful."

Cristiano revealed in an interview last year that his children had a lot of questions when Geo - as he calls Georgina - returned home with only Bella.
"In the beginning, Geo arrives home and the kids start to say where's the other baby? Where's the other baby?” Of course [with] Cristiano Jr., I had a conversation with him in the day, because he's 12 years old, he knows, understands everything, and I had a nice conversation with him," the 38-year-old told Piers Morgan during their TalkTV interview.
Ronaldo says it was an emotional moment.
“We cried together in his bedroom and explained and it's kind of - he doesn't understand, he does understand, but in the same way he was a little bit confused.”
He described the loss of his son Angel as the most difficult moment in his life.
Rodriguez, who has 47-million followers on Instagram, will give her fans a glimpse inside their life as a family in her reality show. Ronaldo is also expected to make an appearance.
Season two of 'I Am Georgina' will premiere on March 24.
