The Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears remix we never saw coming
The internet wins again! Britney Spears showed off her vocals on Instagram, and her fans couldn't help but add her voice to an unofficial remix featuring Christina Aguilera.
Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera fans have been begging the singers to collaborate on a song for years... with little success.
But where there is a will there is a way! Britney Spears recently shared a clip of herself singing in front of a mirror.
The 40-year-old revealed that she had a "new song in the works".
"No … I’m not auditioning for anything !!!! I’m reminding myself and the world of who I am !!!! Yes … I will be my own cheerleader … why ???? I’m here to remind my white ‘classy’ family that I haven’t forgotten what they did to me nor will I ever forget !!!!" she captioned the video.

Despite the shady caption - which has since been deleted, Brit's 38-million followers were more interested in her vocals.
The '...Baby One More Time' singer hits a seriously high note in the clip that left her fans cheering her on.
"New song! She might’ve just cured us of omicron," one Instagram user commented.
Another user added: "Britney!!!!! I’m excited to hear your music with you truly as the captain. I know you have phenomenal taste and abilities far outside what people assume about you."

It's been five years since Britney released a new album, and fans will wait until 2022 before they get to hear anything new from the star.
But the internet is not waiting that long! An internet user decided to put a spin on Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mya, and Pink's hit single, 'Lady Marmalade'.
They added Britney's vocals to the song to make a remix we never saw coming.
"Why it kinda sound good [though]," one person commented.

Unfortunately, it is highly unlikely that Britney and Christina will work together. The pair have had a rocky relationship over the years.
Britney once claimed Christina was rude to her, and the singer recently called her out for not speaking out against her conservatorship.
"I love and adore everyone who appreciated me... but refusing to speak when you know the truth, is equivalent to a lie!!!" after Christina declined to speak about Britney's issues.
