KwaZulu-Natal's Xia Narain, Lisa Stoffela and Danielle Wallace are top contenders for Miss SA 2019.
Miss South Africa has unveiled the Top 16 women who will compete for the crown next month.
The finalists were announced on Thursday.
Three women from KwaZulu-Natal made the cut - Chatsworth's Xia Narain, former Umhlanga resident Danielle Wallace and Margate's Lisa Stoffela.
Xia is a model who has graced runways as far as Turkey. The 23-year-old has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science.

"I am extremely happy and proud to have made the top 16 of Miss South Africa 2019. Thank you to everyone who supported me and who had faith in me, especially my amazing family and friends. I can’t wait for you guys to share this journey with me," Xia wrote on Instagram.
Lisa, who is currently based in Johannesburg, is a BCom Financial Management graduate. The 26-year-old is also a pizza takeaway owner.
"Just your normal Margate girl in the top 16 of Miss South Africa 2019. One step closer to my dreams, I pray that this brings hope to others and validates their dreams as well," she said shortly after the top 16 announcement was made.
Danielle is another strong contender for the Miss SA title.
The 26-year-old currently lives in Cape Town.
Before pursuing her modelling career, the BSc degree graduate worked as a marketing brand manager.
When she is not strutting her stuff on the catwalk, Danielle is spending time outdoors - preferably hiking - or binge watching her favourite series on Netflix in her pyjamas.
"I’m so ridiculously proud to stand beside 15 bold, intellectual women as a top 16 finalist for Miss South Africa 2019. I never imagined meeting 15 women who could make me laugh until I cry, teach me so much and exude the most personality and individuality, I’ve grown to appreciate each one of you over the past two weeks," she wrote on Instagram.
The 2019 Miss SA pageant will take place on Women's Day, August 9, at Time Square's Sun Arena in Pretoria.
Bonang Matheba will host the ceremony for the second year in a row. Her House of BNG bubbly is also the official celebration drink.
