Cardi B defends Offset gifting their daughter a R133k Birkin bag
Let's hope Kulture does not throw her designer bag into her sandbox
Cardi B's daughter, Kulture, celebrated her second birthday in style several days ago, but it was the expensive gift she received from her dad, rapper Offset, that got people talking.
Offset showed off the Birkin bag he gifted the two-year-old on Wednesday. The designer bag retails for a hefty $8,000 (around R133, 000).
Kulture's Birkin arrived a few days after her birthday, but Offset said "late is better [than] never".
"I Birkin my baby," he captioned a video of his daughter receiving her gift.

But the rapper's fans were confused as to why he would buy a two-year-old a designer bag worth thousands of dollars.
"You should have donated that 10k you spent on that Birkin Bag to a charity of your choice in Kultour name. A two-year-old don't even know what she has, she want a regular toy," one Instagram user commented.
Another user added: "Totally Unnecessary She's A Baby!!! Maybe A Baby Purse. They Have Smaller Ones C'mon."
While Offset chose to ignore the hate, his wife Cardi came to his defence.
"When celebrities buy their kids jewelry and designer s**t, people be like, 'kids don't care about that. They only care about toys and candy'. Yeah, they only care about toys and candy, but the thing is the kids also go outside... Kids go to restaurants, kids go to fancy places, celebrity kids, they go do red carpets," she said in a video shared on her social media pages.
The 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker added that she wants her daughter to look cute when she leaves the house.
"If I'm fly and daddy's fly, then so is the kid. If I'm wearing Cha-nay-nay [Chanel], my kid's having the same...It's not up to what the kids like. If it was the kids, they'd be outside in diapers... I'm not mad that daddy bought baby a Birkin bag. She gonna match mommy."

Cardi B is serious about her daughter matching her mommy style. A few weeks before Kulture's birthday, the rapper shared a picture of them wearing identical Burberry outfits.
