Bonnie Mbuli shares her Airbnb drama: 'Time to return to hotels'
Have you shown up at an Airbnb and it wasn't what you expected? Bonnie was left fuming after a recent experience.
Actress Bonnie Mbuli thinks the Airbnb era might be over. The 43-year-old was left disappointed after she booked accommodation that did not live up to what was advertised.
"Have you ever booked an @Airbnb and found that it had no resemblance to what was advertised? It’s the most disheartening feeling, I feel so scammed... arguing back and forth to sort [t] out is a whole palaver!" she wrote on Twitter.

Bonnie said she tried to address the matter.
"I’ve repeatedly communicated with both the host and @Airbnb, sent in photographs and details as proof. I keep getting sent on a wild goose chase with no resolution, the latest is we can only deal with ur case on the 29th, just another diversion."
Some of Bonne's followers shared similar experiences. One Twitter user said they had to leave his Airbnb for the very same reason.
"My advice, do not relent as tiring as it is…I traveled between the UK and Turkey in the last two months and I left 3 airbnbs due to the same issue. Airbnb will give you a run around as they try investigate but they solve it eventually…get alt accommodation but do not let it go," the tweep commented.
Other users urged Bonnie to leave a review so that others wouldn't have the same experience.

Airbnb Help's official Twitter page urged Bonnie to send a DM so the issue could be addressed.
But it seems like Bonnie is pretty much done with the short-term homestay service.

Accommodation issues aside, Bonnie's career is doing amazing. She was recently cast in a new series called, 'The Driver'.
The AMC drama series stars former 'Breaking Bad' star Giancarlo Esposito. Amanda Brugel - who many will recognise from 'The Handmaid's Tale' - has also been cast in the series.
According to Deadline, Bonnie will be a series regular. 'The Driver' is based on a British mini-series of the same name.
Production is currently underway in New Orleans. And Bonnie has been living in the Louisiana city for several weeks now. Bonnie plays a character named Shamiso Tongai.
