'Blood & Water' actress Greteli de Swardt gives birth to a baby girl
And baby makes three... Greteli and her husband Juan de Swardt welcomed their first child together.
Actress Greteli de Swardt shared some exciting news with her fans this week... she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.
Shortly before welcoming her bundle of joy, Greteli revealed that she would be having a c-section.
"OUR BABY IS COMING TODAY! Baba had a will of its own & turned into a very difficult position. I really wanted to go into labour naturally, but was so open to having a c-section, should there be any difficulties. We chose a delivery that was best for baba and me," she captioned a picture with her husband Juan de Swardt.
Greteli, who plays Reece van Rensberg on Netflix's 'Blood & Water' series, thanked her fans for their support and promised to spam them with pictures of the new addition to her family.
"Thank you so much for everyone who've followed along on this pregnancy journey. Your support made it easier & só much fun. I love this community."
Juan was also excited about their baby's arrival. "My heart wants to jump out of my chest with happiness," he wrote.

Greteli kept her promise and hours after her baby's birth returned to Instagram to introduce her to the world.
She revealed the baby's gender for the first time.
"IT'S A... Overwhelmed by this blessing & soaking every moment in. THANK YOU JESUS. (THE SMILE AT THE END)," the 21-year-old wrote.
The couple decided to name their little girl Alé de Swardt.
"Greteli, OMG!!! She’s perfect! Welcome little princess. I know she’s going to be such a blessing to you both! Geluk Mama & Papa," her 'Blood & Water' co-star Gail Mabalane commented.

Greteli and her husband celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary in February.
"A year of being your wife, and oh what a wacky, wild, wonderful ride it’s been," she captioned several pictures from their wedding day.
Juan took to Instagram a few days after their anniversary to share a special image of his wife.
"I took this picture the day I met @greteli.deswardt. Also the day I realized “this is the one” (even told my mom this 1 hour after seeing her) and pursued her 120%. There is only one way of doing love and that is with your head first and your feet in the air," he wrote.

Greteli and Juan announced they were expecting in October last year.
"About 4 months ago we found out that our little pumpkin will be ready to harvest in April 2023. This is the biggest blessing we've received & can't thank God enough. Die Here is SÓ GOED & SÓ GETROU!"
She added that it was the hardest secret she has ever had to keep.
"I CANNOT WAIT TO BE A MOMA & Juan is already looking at tiny surfboards. Lil' bebe, we can't wait to meet you & do life with you. "
