Miss South Africa's live show will be lead by an all-female team for the first time in the pageant's history.
South Africa will crown its next beauty queen in a few weeks, and viewers can expect a lot of girl power both on and off stage.
Miss South Africa officials have announced that next month's live show with be produced by an all-female team.
Black Swan Media will be in charge of the production, as well as organising and directing the entire show.
Relebogile Mabotja - who has produced shows such as 'The Voice SA' - will lead the team. It will be the first time in the pageant's history that the live show is helmed by a team of only women.
“This year, everything about the pageant has a different [look] and feel. For the first time in the pageant’s history, I appointed a reality crew to follow the Top 10 on their journey to the finale and record behind-the-scenes moments," Miss SA CEO Stephanie Weil told the Sunday World.
The Miss South Africa Top 10 will face off on Saturday, August 13 - a few days after Women's Day. The ceremony will be held at the SunBet Arena at Times Square in Tshwane (formerly Pretoria).
KwaZulu-Natal has two finalists in the Top 10 - Ayanda Thabethe and Luyanda Zuma, who both hail from Pietermaritzburg.
Last year's winner, Lalela Mswane, is also from KZN.
