A-list stars turn down chance to sing at King Charles' coronation
It looks like the king is struggling to pull big name performers for his coronation.
Harry Styles, Adele, Elton John, Robbie Williams, Ed Sheeran, and the Spice Girls are just some of the stars who have reportedly declined to perform at King Charles' upcoming coronation.
The monarch will officially be crowned in May following Queen Elizabeth's death in September last year. His wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles, will be crowned alongside him on Saturday, 6 May 2023. She will officially be known as Queen Consort Camilla.
A concert will be held at Windsor Castle the following day to commemorate the historic occasion.
But according to several reports, many A-list musicians have turned down requests to appear at the concert.

Despite some of the mentioned performers being close friends with Charles's estranged son, Prince Harry, reports suggest that the king is not being snubbed.
Their busy schedules are allegedly to blame. Elton John - who was a close friend of Princess Diana - is currently travelling the world as part of his Farewell Tour.
His upcoming shows include appearances in London, Munich, Berlin, Barcelona, and Paris.
According to Fox News, there's still time for the royal family's team to pull big names for the event.
"As far as lining up performers for the coronation concert, I wouldn't panic quite yet. Joss Stone is a friend of the younger royals and can usually be counted on. There is also a long list of American pop stars chomping at the bit to perform," the publication quoted 'The King' author, Christopher Andersen, as saying.

There's talk that organisers could ask Madonna - who is gearing up for her 40th-anniversary tour - to headline the concert.
There's still no word on whether Prince Harry, his wife Meghan - the Duchess of Sussex, and their children, Archie and Lilibet, will attend the coronation.
Harry laid bare his strained relationship with King Charles and his brother, Prince William, the Prince of Wales, in his new book, 'Spare'.
The royal family is said to be fuming following the book's release.
