Simelane launches pop-up vaccination site drive

With the Covid-19 vaccine rollout in full swing, KwaZulu-Natal Health MEC Nomagugu Simelane says they want to make sure that no one is left behind.
She has encouraged undocumented foreign nationals to also come forward and get the jab.
Speaking in Madadeni on Tuesday, Simelane kicked off the first in a series of pop-up vaccination sites in Illembe District.
The site is targeting farmworkers.
She said they have been told that some farmworkers have found it difficult to access the vaccine.
"Now this is something we are going to be rolling out in the next week all over the province because we want to get as many people as possible.
"We are not discriminating. We are vaccinating everyone. We are vaccinating South Africans. We are vaccinating people who are not from South Africa who have documents.
"But we are also vaccinating those that are undocumented. Therefore we ask everyone to come and partner with us so that we are able to get to the 70% vaccination of the population that the minister spoke about."
