You might be paying decade-old cellphone insurance! Wendy Knowler can help
Updated | By Nokuthula Ngcobo
A number of consumers continue to pay for bills they shouldn't be paying for or are scammed by clothing stores who have bogus lay-bye terms and conditions. Consumerwatch is here just for that.
In the latest ECR Consumerwatch, Wendy Knowler answered questions she had been receiving on social media, ranging from consumers unaware that they are paying insurance on cellphones they haven't used in a decade, fly-by-night companies that are scamming innocent lay-bye customers, and the policy on returning online purchases.
Wendy advises that when you upgrade your cellphone contract, you ensure that your insurance is also updated at the same time.
