Zahara's drinking problem
Zahara's career has been marred by allegations of alcohol abuse, but the singer has denied that she has a problem.
In an interview with Podcast and Chill with MacG, the 'Loliwe' hitmaker said she drinks occasionally and it is no one's business what she does behind close doors.
She said she started drinking at the age of 24 at a party. Although she says she didn't enjoy the alcohol, she loved how it made her feel free.
In 2017, the star threatened to sue Somizi after he spoke about Zahara and her alleged alcohol problem.
Somizi said during the SAMA awards: "“We are almost at the end of the show and there’s an amazing after party, free bar...where is Zahara ( audience roars in laughter). She’s probably at the bar already.”
Zahara said she was going to sue "Somizi and the SAMAs for defamation of character."
