Taylor Swift is "filled with rage and grief" over mass shooting of school children

The singer has shared how heartbroken she is over the murder of nineteen children at Robb Elementary School in Texas.
Taylor Swift has joined in support of Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr who is calling for a regulation of weapons after mass shootings that have been taking place in America.
In a video that has since gone viral, the coach spoke about the recent shootings that have been taking place in Texas, leaving 19 school children from Robb Elementary School dead.
“In the last 10 days, we’ve had elderly Black people killed in a supermarket in Buffalo. We’ve had Asian churchgoers killed in Southern California. Now we have children murdered at school," said Kerr.
“Do you realize 90 percent of Americans, regardless of political party, want universal background checks? We’re being held hostage by 50 senators in Washington who refuse to even put it to a vote, despite what we, the American people, want. They won’t vote on it, because they want to hold on to their own power. It’s pathetic," he added.

Taking to Twitter, Swift said Steve’s words "ring so true and cut so deep".
She said the recent shootings in Uvalde, Buffalo and Lugana Woods have left her "filled with rage and grief, and so broken".
She added that she is broken by "the ways in which we, as a nation, have become conditioned to unfathomable and unbearable heartbreak."

Filled with rage and grief, and so broken by the murders in Uvalde. By Buffalo, Laguna Woods and so many others. By the ways in which we, as a nation, have become conditioned to unfathomable and unbearable heartbreak. Steve’s words ring so true and cut so deep. https://t.co/Rb5uwSTxty
