Nomcebo Zikode explains why she may not work with Master KG again
Updated | By Poelano Malema
Master KG and Zikode make magic together, but it seems 'Jerusalema' is the last collaboration we might get from the stars. Here is why.
Nomcebo Zikode and Master KG are yet to settle their differences.
Although the two released the biggest hit of 2020, 'Jerusalema', Zikode earlier this year revealed that she has not received a cent for the song.

Soon after her claims, Master KG took to social media to respond, claiming that there is a dispute when it comes to what percentage each of them should be paid.

Nomcebo says she does not understand why Master KG decided to respond when she asked about her payments.
In a Facebook post, the singer said Master KG had no business responding as he was just a colleague, not the boss or owner of the company.
Nomcebo was responding to a Facebook user who called for the two artists to reconcile. "Master KG and Music S.A fans brought you back and whatever differences you have, you must be thankful for that, keep on shining. Hope one day you will hook up together again and give us more fire music," wrote Facebook user Piet Khune Van Sathekge.

Nomcebo started by clarifying that she has no problem with Master KG, except that she does not understand why he decided to respond about a saga she raised with the record label.
"I don’t have any problem with him, and I’ve never ever said anything to him besides sending out the statement which was clear that I need my money from the company not from him, as I’ve been trying to talk to the company many times with no luck, and they’ve been saying the song didn’t make any money so there’s no money. I then decided to get a lawyer to help me, so I don’t know till today why he decided to respond before the company responds… as he was not my boss/ owner of the company but my colleague."
