What an epic fail!
Awad-winning South African singer Zahara left tweeps in stitches as she tried to sing the national anthem, but failed miserably.
The 'Imali' hitmaker went live on Twitter and started singing the national anthem.
The singer struggled to sing the Afrikaans lyrics of the national anthem and she even messed up the Zulu lyrics.

Not only did Zahara's followers find her singing hilarious, but she also laughed at herself in disbelief.

Zahara is not the only musician to have messed up the national anthem.
In 2019, Afrikaans singer Kurt Darren also made headlines for butchering the national anthem.
The singer was performing at the FNB Varsity Cup clash between Maties and Tuks.
He has since apologised for the blunder.
Dear @StellenboschUni and @FNBSA #VarsityCup. Rather not sing it at all than insult our Nation & African languages. If you don’t have black students to sing the National Anthem, just don’t do it. Nxa. pic.twitter.com/yww6D8qUCl
