Updated | By Music Reporter
To ring in Pride Month, Taylor Swift shared a special message to her fans at a recent concert.
While many of us are excited that we are halfway through the year, it must not be forgotten that June also marks Pride month.
The LGBT community uses the month of June make their voices heard by standing up for equality through rainbow coloured, peaceful marches around the world.
Taylor Swift kicked off Pride Month by sharing an emotional message of love during a sold-out concert which took place in Soldier Field, Chicago on Saturday, 2nd June.
The 28-year-old took a moment before performing her hit, Delicate, to share a special message to the LGBT community about being true to themselves, despite what others may say about their lifestyle choices.
This month and every month I want to send my love and respect to everybody who has been brave enough to be honest about how they feel, to live their lives as they are, as they feel they should be, as they identify.- Taylor Swift
