Updated | By East Coast Radio
Danny Guselli and the listeners of KZN were treated to a musical experience with a live performance like no other.
Gloire Espoir Mapenzi is a self-taught musician who started playing the guitar at the age of seven.
In the course of his career, he has
worked with local and international artists such as Miriam Webster (Hillsong
Australia), Andrew Bairds (Mango Groove), Frederick (DRC), Mike D (Uganda), and Wilaine Nshonzi (DRC). His musical influences range from Hugh Masekela and
Jonathan Butler to contemporaries, John Legend and John Mayer.
Gloire is signed to Black City Records (BCR), a Durban based independent recording label focused on delivering world-class
and meticulously crafted popular music to local and international audiences.
He joined Danny Guselli at our Suncoast studios recently to perform a cover of 'Best Part' by Daniel Ceasar, and we were blown away by his smooth sound.
