Although popular department store brand Macy's blamed Rita Ora's Thanksgiving lip-syncing scandal on 'technical difficulties', many of her fans weren't too happy with her 'performance'.
Rita Ora is facing the heat from fans all around the world after she was caught lip-syncing at Thursday's Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in the States.
While standing on a deck amidst freezing temperatures, Rita can be seen completely missing the beat (and the words) to her recent hit, Let You Love Me.

TMZ reports that Macy's blamed the lip-syncing incident on "technical difficulties", and that the artist could not do anything to avoid it... but her fans weren't having the excuses.
"Look...We know that the artists lip-sync for the #MacysParade. It's always been obvious. But goodness gracious, Rita Ora was a whole line behind and it was painfully apparent that she had no idea. The mix in her ears wasn't even close to the broadcast. Get it together, folks," said Twitter user @OyPescado.
While @SkilledNapper added: "I don’t know who Rita Ora is... and after that lip-sync, I’m glad."

Enter John Legend, who also performed at the event, riding in on a white house to 'rescue' the damsel in distress.
He tweeted out saying that artists have to lip-sync as it's difficult for the float to handle the sound requirements.
Fun fact. We all have to lip sync on this parade because the floats don't have the capacity to handle the sound requirements for a live performance. Hope y'all enjoyed it anyway. Know that if you come to my shows, the vocals are 100% live! https://t.co/C2bGj63AF6

Rita promptly replied, saying: "Fun fact @johnlegend thank you for clarifying what I was about to also tweet. It’s annoying for us but anyway! All my shows are 100 percent live always have been! When you come to a ORA show get ready! Back to holidays! Have a good one guys! :) X."
