The world can't get enough: Michael Jackson musical set to open in Chicago
Updated | By Justin Paul James
The musical, titled Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough, will feature some of the biggest hits from the late King of Pop.
He may be gone, but his music still lives on. That's the message that the new Michael Jackson musical conveys.
Rolling Stone reports that the Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough musical will premiere at the James M. Nederlander Theatre in Chicago, USA from 29 October 2019 until 1 December 2019, and will make its way to Broadway over the course of 2020. The show is produced in conjunction with the Michael Jackson estate and Columbia Live Stage.
According to Chicago Tribune, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage had this to say about the tribute: "This is not a Cirque du Soleil show, nor a tribute show, nor a hagiography. We are endeavoring to tell the story of one moment in the life of a very complicated man whose life was very fraught."

It is said that casting is still underway for the musical. The lead will need to capture the true essence of the global superstar.
