Selena Gomez records country song with Thomas Rhett

Is Selena Gomez "going country" for her next big hit?
Selena Gomez has reportedly recorded a duet with country singer Thomas Rhett and it could get released in a few months - or not!
Thomas revealed recently that he recorded a song with the 'Bad Liar' hitmaker for his upcoming album, which drops in September.
But the singer told Rare Country that "it's still sort of up in the air if it's going to actually make the record".
"A lot of things need to go correct for it to work out," he told the publication.
Thomas added that he has never met Selena in person, and was nervous to talk to her.
"I've only been able to talk to her over the phone but I was blown away just how super nice and respectful [she was], because I was terrified to talk to her, especially about the song. Like, I was scared to say, 'Maybe if you try this' to the biggest superstar that literally exists in this world and I'm just me? (Laughs.) But yeah, she was so sweet and I can't wait to meet her someday," he said.
Selena is remaining mum on her big country debut, but it is sure to be a major hit if the song does get released.
Not that the 24-year-old needs any help staying on the charts. She currently has two songs on the Coca-Cola Top 40 chart.
Her latest single, 'Bad Liar', is racing up the chart, while her collaboration with Kygo is in the Top 10.
