The music industry is in mourning following the death of The Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan.
Tributes have been pouring in from all over the world for the Irish rock band's lead singer.
Dolores died suddenly on Monday at the age of 46. The cause of death is still unknown.
Band members Mike, Fergal, and Noel shared an emotional post on Facebook following news of her passing.
"We are devastated on the passing of our friend Dolores. She was an extraordinary talent and we feel very privileged to have been part of her life from 1989 when we started the Cranberries. The world has lost a true artist today."
Several celebrities have joined The Cranberries' fans in paying tribute to Dolores on social media.

My first time hearing Dolores O'Riordan's voice was unforgettable. It threw into question what a voice could sound like in that context of Rock. I'd never heard somebody use their instrument in that way. Shocked and saddened to hear of her passing, thoughts are with her family.

Zombie
Taken off the band's 1994 album, 'No Need to Argue', this hit single was inspired by the 1993 IRA bomb attack in Warrington, England. The song helped make The Cranberries a worldwide sensation. Dolores, who wrote the song, said in an interview with Team Rock that she was saddened by the incident, which claimed the lives of 12-year-old Tim Parry and three-year-old Jonathan Ball. “I remember being on tour and being in the UK at the time when the child died, and just being really sad about it all. These bombs are going off in random places. It could have been anyone, you know?" she told the publication.
Linger
The hit that started it all. 'Linger', written by both Dolores and Noel, was one of the band's first major hits. The song featured in the Top 10 in the US, and peaked at number three in Ireland.
Dreams
Released in 1992, 'Dreams' was taken off the band's first album, 'Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?', and served as their debut song. "I wrote that about my first love when I was living in Ireland. It's about feeling really in love for the first time," she told Songfacts. The song featured on the soundtracks of several movies, including 'Mission: Impossible', 'You've Got Mail', and 'The Next Karate Kid'. There is also more than one version of the song.
