Is Boity Thulo signed to Def Jam?

According to several media reports, Boity Thulo has become the latest South African artist to join international record label, Def Jam Recordings.
On Sunday, entertainment commentator and TV host Phil Mphela broke the news that Boity Thulo had become the latest artist to join US record label, Def Jam Recordings.

“MUSIC: Boity signed to Def Jam. According to @Billboardmagazine, the rapper is one of the African division of the iconic label signees. Boity is now a Def Jam Africa artist. Congrats Queen,” he tweeted.
Many people took to Twitter to congratulate the star.

According to @Billboard magazine, the rapper is one of the African division of the iconic label’s signees.

Boity has two singles under her belt - 'Bakae' and ‘Wuz Dat’. She released ‘Wuz Dat’ in 2018 and ‘Bakae’ in 2019.

Another South African rapper who recently joined Def Jam is Nasty C.
The award-winning rapper released 'There They Go' under Def Jam in March.
The American record label focuses predominantly on hip hop and it is the record label behind artists such as Ludacris, Nas, and Big Sean.
