Beyoncé acknowledges SA in an Instagram post using DJ Maphorisa's song

Following her performance at the Global Citizen Festival a few weeks ago, Queen Bey has given a major shout out to Mzansi and used a South African song to do so.
DJ Maphorisa must be smiling ear-to-ear after international superstar Beyoncé used one of his famous songs, iWalk Ye Phara as a backing track to a flashback she posted back when she was in SA for the Global Citizen Festival.
The festival, which took place two weeks ago, saw thousands of South African global citizens flock to FNB Stadium in Johannesburg to enjoy performances from big names such as Coldplay's Chris Martin, Pharrell, Ed Sheeran, and even Queen Bey herself.
Feeling thankful for the time she spent in SA and at the festival, Mrs Knowles-Carter took to her Instagram to share a message to Mzansi.

"I felt so much positivity and pride in the audience at Global Citizen: Mandela 100. Madiba, Johannesburg, and all of my African sisters and brothers, we hope we made you as proud as you all make us. South Africa was an extraordinary trip for me and my family. God bless," she said in an Instagram post.
