Kanye West compares reading to eating Brussels sprouts

Kanye says he doesn't read any books because he prefers speaking.
Kanye West recently opened his very own private Christian school called, Donda Academy, but the rapper admits that he does not read any books.
The 45-year-old made the confession during an episode of the 'Alo Mind Full' podcast. Danny Alo Yoga founder Danny Harris discussed a book he has read on the podcast.
He said he read the book - which deals with self-confidence and philosophy - more than 100 times.
"[Kanye] was telling me that he hasn’t read this book, but I was telling him that every positive attribute [in the book], he naturally embodies. And that’s extraordinary, you know, to have that confidence from being such a young kid and going out there and inspiring and having this vision, and actualising it," Danny said.
Kanye responded by telling Danny and host Alyson Wilson that he doesn't read and prefers speaking.
"Reading is like eating Brussels sprouts, for me, and talking is like getting the Giorgio Baldi corn ravioli," the 'Jesus Walks' rapper said.
Giorgio Baldi is a popular family-run Italian restaurant in California.

Meanwhile, Kanye's Donda Academy - which is named after his late mother - is raising a few eyebrows. The Grammy Award-winning rapper took a swipe at his ex-wife Kim Kardashian after she refused to allow him to enrol their four children into the school.
North West, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm currently go to a private school.
"You don’t have [say-so] of where the kids go to school. Why you get say [so]? Cause you half white?" he wrote in a text message to Kim - which he shared and deleted on Instagram.
He also took a swipe at his former mother-in-law Kris Jenner, slamming her for allowing her children to feature in Playboy magazine.
"Y’all don’t have [say] so over my black children and where they go to school. They will not do playboy and sex tapes. Tell your Clinton friends to come get me. I’m here.”

According to Rolling Stone magazine, parents who want to attend Donda Academy need to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
The publication claims that the school is not accredited as yet, and the principal has no formal teaching experience.
Some of the school's subjects include parkour, art, and film classes.
"Each day, Donda students learn fundamentals, grow in their faith, and experience two enrichment classes," the Donda website states.
