Drake hires Kabza De Small to co-produce tour
South Africans are celebrating news that Kabza De Small is part of Drake's production team for his 'It's All A Blur' tour.
American rapper Drake has announced that Kabza De Small, real name Kabelo Petrus Motha, is one of the producers on his latest tour.
"Show is executively produced by @Ovo40 and @bnyx with additional production by @KabeloMotha," the 'Rich Flex' rapper wrote on his Instagram Stories.

Kabza De Small is known for his amapiano beats and hit songs such as 'Asibe Happy', 'Abalele', and 'Nana Thula'.
The South African DJ and producer released his debut album, 'Avenue Sounds', in 2016. He has become one of the country's most in-demand DJs and reportedly charges R200,000 plus for bookings.
Kabza De Small's fans are celebrating his latest career achievement. They took to social media to congratulate him on bagging a gig with Drake.
"This is quite an achievement... Congrats @KabzaDeSmall_," one Twitter user wrote.
Another useradded: "Drake just posted that Kabza De Small is part of the production for his current tour. So much for needing new management. N****z just be speaking here without knowing the moves people are doing."

It's not the first time Drake has worked with a South African artist. He called Grammy Award-winner DJ Black Coffee a "heroic figure" in 2022.
Black Coffee was one of the executive producers on Drake's album, 'Honestly, Nevermind'.
Drake kicked off his 'It's All A Blur' tour in Chicago on Wednesday. Rapper 21 Savage also features on the tour.
Before taking to the stage, Drake dropped a trailer for the tour on his Instagram page.
"Someone asked me the other night what my biggest fear is. And I’ve never really had a good answer for it, but my answer was that all this is for nothing. Kind of the idea that like, one day life ends and it just all goes black. And I guess that question like, sent me, you know, obviously deep into a spiral of thought. And it makes me think about my life and how surreal it feels at times," he said in the trailer.
The 'God's Plan' rapper went on to recall the time he auditioned for a big role when he was a teenager.
“I had an audition for a TV show that ultimately shaped my life and before my audition, I went to this kid’s house and I out of, I guess, a desire to be accepted. I would succumb to peer pressure, and I got high with these kids right before my audition, and I kind of wonder, like, if something bad happened that day or, you know, maybe I’m still high, maybe I’m in some coma. And this is just like me playing out my ideal life. And yeah, that concept has stuck with me for a lot of years. I mean, it feels like reality, it feels tangible. But I definitely wonder sometimes.”
