Michael Jordan's Chicago mansion has been on the market since 2012. Let us investigate why no one is buying the property.
Celebrity homes draw the attention of many of us.
Many people would love to own a house that was once owned by an international star.
However, Michael Jordan's Chicago mansion has been on the market for over ten years.
It is found in Highland Park, near Chicago, and has been on the market since March 2012.

The house is what dreams are made of.
It has nine bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, a full size NBA basketball court, circular infinity pool with an island, a tennis court, cigar room complete with poker tables, a full gym, a gate with his iconic #23 on it, five fire places, aquarium in one of the dining rooms, wine cellar, home theatre, library, games room with a pool table, and an outside three-bedroom guest house.
The house was initially listed for $29-million. However, now it is selling for $18,456,000.
According to The Richest vlogger, the current fee for houses in the same area where Jordan's house is located cost about $567,500. Jordan's house is 51 times more expensive. Perhaps this could be one of the reasons why the house has not been sold?
Another speculation as to why the house is not selling is because of the huge amount of personalisation that Jordan did to the house. The basketball court is Jordan branded and even the entrance gate has Jordan's iconic #23 on it.
Unless you are a huge Michael Jordan fan, then you might need to do a lot of redecoration on the house to make it feel like your own.
