A white dress is one of the most important items for a bride.
Many brides prefer to keep their wedding dresses even after the wedding. This tradition has been carried through the centuries.

Sadly, her white dress has gone missing.
The heartbroken woman took to Facebook to ask for help in recovering her dress.

She says the dress was stolen when her home was broken into during the festive season.
"Over the festive season we were broken into and my wedding dress was stolen," she wrote.
She went on to explain how dear the dress is to her.
"It’s obviously something really special so I am turning to social media on the off chance that someone somewhere mite have seen it," she added.
Lukan gave a full description of the dress.
"It’s a full length beaded dress with lace and beading on the top. It had a tulle half skirt that went over that had the same lace and beading detail around the waist. I have included some pictures/videos of the making of the dress to show the lace detail," she wrote.
"Please if anyone has seen it or thinks they know where it may be, please message me on Facebook or Instagram," she added.
