The star spoke about how hard it can be to maintain one's sex life, especially if needs are not communicated.
Intimacy in marriage is a big deal. It can make or break a marriage.
When one's sexual needs are not met, that can cause a lot of problems for the marriage and even result in infidelity in some instances.
Famous actor, Jada Pinkett Smith, says one of the things that can contribute to dissatisfaction when it comes to sex is expecting your partner to read your mind.
"I think you expect your partner to know [what you need], especially when it comes to sex. It's like, 'Well, if you love me, you should know. If you love me, you should read my mind.' That's a huge pitfall," Jada Smith said during an episode of ‘Red Table Talk’.

She says communication is key in letting your needs be met.
"You tell me what you need. Tell me what you want, and on top of it, I know that I have to be accountable to do the same," she added.
The star added that the conversation can be uncomfortable, but it is healthy.
“It's uncomfortable, but it's deeply healthy, and I think around sex, because it's something that we don't talk about and there's so much fantasy around it."
