When two people decide to tie the knot, divorce should be the last thing on their minds.
They also expect their family members to wish them nothing but a happy marriage that will last until death does them apart.
However, a Reddit user has been left furious after her family members went as far as making a bet on how long her marriage would last.
Not only that, but they also said the fiancé is making a mistake by marrying her.

The bride said she is so disheartened that she is even contemplating canceling the ceremony and signing the marriage licence in court.
"My wedding is supposed to be at the end of this month but I’m planning to cancel everything and have a courthouse wedding because my cousin told me my family were making bets on how long it would take my fiancé to realise he wasn’t getting the “good little wife” he was expecting and regret marrying me," wrote the Reddit user.
She says her family said the bet was just a joke, however, she is not taking it lightly.
"When I confronted them, they said it was just a harmless joke."
The woman says the family said they believe the marriage won't last because she "didn’t have the personality to be a submissive housewife which a man like my fiancé would obviously want."
According to her parents, she should not cancel the wedding because she would regret it in the long run and that would upset her future in-laws.
"I told them I didn’t care and they could tell everybody why I never had a wedding ceremony," wrote the user.
