Legendary Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts passes away aged 80

English drummer Charlie Watts has died at the age of 80.
The famous band's Charlie Watts, who was the band's English drummer, has passed away at the age of 80.
The rockstar had helped The Rolling Stones and The Beatles become one of the greatest bands in rock n roll.

A statement was shared saying: "It is with immense sadness that we announce the death oyoutubf our beloved Charlie Watts."
It said he was "a cherished husband, father, and grandfather" and "one of the greatest drummers of his generation".
Tributes have come from stars including The Beatles' Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Ringo Starr, and Sir Elton John.

He is the man to applaud for the jazz-inflected swing The Rolling Stones' songs had, with their swagger, pushing and pulling at the groove, creating room for Mick Jagger's lascivious drawl.
Charlie Watts is said to be at his best on the cowbell-driven 'Honky Tonk Women'.
On and off the stage, the man was quiet and reserved - sticking to the shadows and letting the rest of the band suck up the limelight.
Charlie kept the beat going for the Stones for 60 years.
