A-ha's Morten Harket turns 63

Celebrate the Norwegian singer and songwriter's birthday by listening to East Coast Gold's special birthday tribute that features his hit singles.
On 14 September 1959, the legendary Morten Harket was born.
The 63-year-old vocalist was one of the biggest pop icons of the 1980s.
The Norwegian vocalist and songwriter became popular while working with the synthpop/rock band A-ha from 1982.

He was the lead singer of the band. His vocal skills are unmatched and he has been praised for having an incredibly strong falsetto.
The band achieved a lot, topping international charts.
As a solo artist, Morten produced three solo albums in the mid-nineties, and three more in 2008, 2012, and 2014.
Life in Norway website reports that in 2000, Morten Harket broke the world record for the “longest same-pitch note in a song that made the UK’s Official Singles”.
His album, ‘Out of My Hands’, peaked at number three in Germany.
