Updated | By Preneil Pillay
The Eagles continue to be one of the highest-earnign bands of all time and they've got a series of limited edition re-issues for fans and collectors.
Legendary classic rock band The Eagles’ 70s albums will be receiving a crisp new reissue treatment by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab.
Rhino will reissue all six of the band’s records released in the 70s
The reissue begins with the first two records, namely; 1972’s The Eagles and 1973’s Desperado The self-titled re-issue was released on 15 August, with Desperado due on 15 September.
Why is this such a big deal?
Both reissues are limited to 7,500 copies – making this a collector’s must-have. Each album is – and will be - packaged in deluxe box sets with foil-stamped jackets and original artwork
What makes the sound quality of this reissue so enticing?
The UltraDisc One-Step format being used for the reissue skips the standard three-step lacquer process and is using only one — resulting in higher sound quality.
And let’s be honest, we’re all about the sound quality, especially when it comes to The Eagles.
