Standard Bank is fully operational
The bank says it has restored all services following a major outage impacting ATMs, Points of Sale transactions, and more on Sunday afternoon.

A horse named Rich Strike won the 148th running of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky, on Saturday. The horse entered the race at 80-1 odds, the biggest long-shot in the 20-horse field.

Worlds tallest living dog recorded in the Guinness World Records
Paw-some news! Great Dane, Zeus has been crowned the world's tallest living dog by Guinness World Records. Announced on March 22nd, this tall pooch is 1,046 meters tall.

Changing the world of recycling!
A team from the University of Texas created a new enzyme variant that can supercharge recycling on a large scale. It focuses on PET (polyethylene terephthalate), which is a polymer found in most consumer plastic including bottles, packaging and some textiles.
