What's lurking inside your strawberries

If you love strawberries, you may want to read this carefully.
TikTok users normally trend for their amazing dance moves, but now some of them are trending with great food prep techniques. One of these recent trends however has left us wishing we had never seen it. If this trend is to be believed, apparently we've been eating strawberries with bugs and dirt all our lives.

TikTok users have claimed that tiny bugs come out of strawberries after they've been left to soak in salt water.

Videos have been posted online showing users filling bowls with water, adding a heavy amount of salt, and dropping strawberries in for up to half an hour.
The results will shock you...
When you zoom in, it looks like tiny bugs are walking around on the surface of the fruit. She sliced off thin layers of the surface and put it under an objective lens to show little critters moving around the surface.
Dirt left at the bottom of a solid white brand new bowl!
