WATCH: Tyre explodes while being filled with air, damages bakkie

The incident took place at a petrol station in Verulam, KZN.
A video showing a rare incident has been shared by Arrive Alive on social media; an explosion at a garage.
In the video, a Ford bakkie is damaged at a petrol station in Verulam when a tractor tyre it had been carrying exploded while it is being filled with air.

According to Prem Balram, director at Reaction Unit SA (Rusa), one of their members was alerted to the incident after they heard the explosion.
"On investigation it was established that the driver of the Ford Ranger was in the process of filling air in a tractor tyre that was loaded at the rear of his bakkie when the explosion occurred," Balram said.

No injuries were reported.
