The #BigFavour lends a helping hand to Vukukhanye
Updated | By Damon Beard
Vukukhanye is an isiZulu word which means "arise and shine", and it reflects the charity's vision for the upliftment of the underprivileged, poor, and marginalised people of South Africa. On Thursday, the Big Favour helped play a part in this.
Take a listen to the #BigFavour this week or read the details under the podcast.
Vukukhanye is a non-profit, public benefit organisation formed in 2001, assisting vulnerable families in the communities of Chesterville and Cato Manor.

Anna Ndebele is the supervisor at Shekinah Crèche which enrols 35 children between two and five years of age, and currently runs from a 12m x 3m park home.
We were joined in studio by Kelly Graham, the Communications Manager of Suncoast Casino, who gave Anna the good news. Tables and chairs for the kids, two jungle gyms, and even lockers for the children to store their bags will be delivered to the creche in the next day or two.
