Should calculators be allowed at primary school level?

Mathematics isn't child's play, well, it should be with the help of calculators, right?
We asked KZN what they thought of children at primary school level making use of calculators and this is what they had to say:
Calculators are known to be helpful tools to mathematical problems. It is most likely than not that learners at high school level use calculators as their level of maths is more advanced than that of primary school learners.
We asked Professor Renuka Vithal - Honorary Professor in Mathematics Education at Wits University, her opinion of this matter, and this is what she had to say:

60 years ago before computers NASA had rooms full of people just to do manual calculations. Look where they are now. 60 years from now kids in 2nd grade will operate a calculator the same way 10th graders does today. It's inevitable and no one can stop it.
