LISTEN: An unborn baby recorded an album while in the womb

Luca Yupanqui is a 15-month-old toddler, but she has been making music since before her birth!
Many kids dream of becoming popstars or rockstars when they grow up.

There is a select group though that get their breakout moment early in their lives, like Britney Spears, Selena Gomez, and Demi Lovato, who all started their careers as child stars.
But have you ever heard of an unborn baby releasing their very own album?
Well, now you have - and the album is 100% real.

Elizabeth Hart and Iván Diaz Mathé, the parents of baby Luca, are musicians in their own right and decided to capture the sounds of their baby while Elizabeth was still pregnant.
This means they recorded their baby while she was in the womb.

Using biosonic MIDI technology, they were able to create this record.
The electrodes receive electromagnetic impulses that are translated into MIDI and then hooked up to synthesizers. The whole experience was very fulfilling. The rhythms and harmonies created with this technology are very different to the ones we would produce ourselves and being able to work with such material has been both challenging and very rewarding.- Elizabeth Hart

Luca has been a vital part of the creation of the album, even after her birth, being in the studio during the mixing and finalising of the work.
The album is now set for release on the 2nd of April by Sacred Bones Records and is called, 'Sounds of the Unborn'.

While there is no telling how successful this release will be, her parents have said that she is welcome to choose any path and they won't pressure her into continuing to make music in the future.
We were able to find one of the songs and we have to say, it is quite interesting.
