In 1251, King Henry III was given a polar bear by the King of Norway. He kept it in the Tower of London on a long chain so that it could swim in the Thames.

Mongoose were introduced to Hawaii to control the rat population.
Unfortunately, the mongoose is diurnal and the rat nocturnal, so they rarely encounter each other.

In October 2021, in Shanghai, China, a millionaire named 'Sunwear' withdrew his entire savings of five-million yuan and ordered the bank staff to count every single note - all because they asked him to wear a face mask. He then put the money in suitcases and left.
