Hundreds of people have been accommodated at the Ladysmith indoor sports centre after being evacuated from their homes due to flood waters that covered the Ladysmith central business district in KwaZulu-Natal.

Alpine driver Fernando Alonso is targeting a swift return to full fitness after undergoing surgery for the second time since February last year. 

He underwent surgery to repair his broken jaw after being involved in a road accident while cycling in Switzerland but managed to return in time for the start of the 2021 campaign in Bahrain.

Rassie Erasmus' three daughters took to social media with a viral video celebrating his return to work after his two-month suspension by World Rugby. The girls teased the Springbok legend for having been a pain in the house and as some have seen, he had a lot of fun on social during the period.

A new investigation has identified a suspect who may have betrayed Anne Frank and her family to the Nazis. Her diary, published after her death, is the most famous first-hand account of Jewish life during the war. 

A team including an ex-FBI agent said Arnold van den Bergh, a Jewish figure in Amsterdam, probably "gave up" Frank to save his own family.

UKZN has apologised after a technical glitch resulted in the institution mistakenly sending firm acceptance offers to applicants saying their admission status has been reinstated. 

A number of student applicants intending to study at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) Howard Campus, in Durban, took to social media after receiving text messages from the university withdrawing their firm offers.
