The second Monkeypox case has been recorded in Cape Town in a patient with no travel history. Minister of Health Dr Joe Phaahla has called for vigilance from the country after the detection of another Monkeypox case. The patient is a 32-year-old male.

South African rapper AKA pleads with Elon Musk to help South Africa get out of this loadshedding situation - as it is his home country after all. The rapper and businessman took to Twitter to ask Elon to take over and solve the ongoing electricity crisis. Let’s hope he hears his plea and comes to our rescue.

All influencers in China will now have to have a qualification to speak on specific topics that require a high level of professionalism. This was announced by China's National Radio and Television Administration in a whole new set of guidelines.

Instagram is testing out new ways to verify users' ages, including scanning their faces. The company announced the trial, which began on 23 June and is currently only being rolled out in the United States of America. The trial is focused on users who try to change their age on the app from under 18 to over 18.
