#BigFavour: Cancer patient finally ticks off bucket list item
Updated | By Damon Beard
Maggie wrote to the Big Favour to tell us about her twin sister Daineel, who has a dream that’s on her bucket list.
Listen to today's Big Favour below, or read the details under the podcast.
Daineel has just come out of hospital after being diagnosed with stage two colon cancer, and is now in remission after having had surgery to remove the affected areas.
Maggie and her sister were talking about "regrets", and Daineel happened to mention that she would love to go to a game reserve to see wild animals from an open 4x4.

Maggie was blown away that at the age of 62, her twin sister had never seen wild animals in their natural environment.
A huge thanks to Shanon and Craig Mackenzie, owners of the beautiful Gwahumbe Game & Spa, who jumped on board to help, and offered Daineel a two night stay for two guests with all meals included, and as many game drives as she wants in order to realise her dream of seeing game in their natural environment.
What a treat!
