The Big Favour shares some hope with this 16-year-old after a tragic accident

Dynamed Pharmaceuticals definitely did something Wandile will remember forever!
Life can certainly shock you sometimes and change in the blink of an eye. This is what happened to Grade 10 learner, Wandile Didi.
The young man who attends school at Brettenwood High School was involved in a tragic accident that cost him a leg.

He shares the story of how the accident took place last year and what had to be done for him to continue living.
His take and approach on life has since changed and inspired everyone in his school.
This is how his teacher, Rakesha, nominated him for The Big Favour.

Hi, I am an educator at Brettonwood High School and I heard on your show this week that you have two electric wheelchairs. Would you kindly consider sponsoring the remaining wheelchair to our grade 10 learner Wandile Didi? He was in a car accident last year and lost his leg. This learner is an inspiration to us all."- Rakesha

She continued: "He has not allowed his circumstances to hinder his day to day life. At present he uses crutches. His friend Lwandisa Gumede is always by his side ever ready to be a friend. This active teenager would best from an artificial limb, that's long term, for now an electric wheelchair would really help".
